Description: menu-driven serial communication program
Minicom is a text-mode serial communications program modelled on the
MS-DOS program Telix. It drives modems and serial consoles through a
full-screen, menu-driven interface and emulates ANSI and VT102 terminals.
 .
A dialling directory with auto-redial, a scripting language for automating
log-ins and other exchanges, capture-to-file logging, remappable key
bindings and a configurable status line are included. File transfers rely
on external X-, Y- and ZMODEM helpers such as those in the lrzsz package.
